City Hunter on üks sürrimaid Jackie Chan-i filme, mida mina näinud. Sellesmõttes, et siin parodeeritakse suht palju selle aja asju nagu minu lemmik steen filmist, kus nad teevad Street Fighter-i mängu järgi - ülinaljakas! Põhiliselt on see üks väga segane ja vahel ka väga ebaloogiline, aga samas nagu siia filmi need kõik komponendid sobivad, kuna see film ise ka ei anna otseselt aru, mis põhiteema on.
Filmi teema ole suht lihtne ja lühike. City Hunter-i nimeline eradektektiiv Ryu Saeba (Jackie Chan - "Drunken Master", "Rumble In The Bronx") koos oma assistendi Kaori-ga (Joey Wang - "Chinese Ghost Story") satuvad kruiisilaeval terroristide rünnaku keskele. Samas on Ryu-l vaja leida ülesse ühe rikka meediamoguli kadunud tütar, kes on ka eksikombel laeval ja samas saada tagasi oma assistent Kaori, kes üritab Ryu-t armukadedaks teha. Laeva peal leia veel teisigi värvikaid tegelasi nagu veel 2 teist nais dektektiivi, kes terroriste jahi ja mystiline kaardimängur, kelle relvadeks on surmteravad mängukaardid.

Suht selline mõnus segane film täis võitluskunsti ja head huumorit. Väga jabur aga lõbus. Igale Jackie Chan-i, idamaade filmi austajale ja ka muidu sellele, kes naudib märuli ja komöödia kooslust. Kahjuks ma ise pole sama nimelist mangat näinud, mille filmi versioon see siis peaks olema, aga film on küll tasemel.

Sinopsis dari Film Virgin 3 Ini :
ini, Tika, Sherry dan Putri hanya berencana merayakan malam terakhir Putri sebelum keberangkatannya untuk melanjutkan sekolah di Melbourne. Atas ide Sherry, walaupun mereka masih di bawah umur, dengan bantuan seorang fotografer Tyo, akhirnya mereka berhasil masuk ke club yang sangat eksklusif. Di sanalah kekacauan mulai terjadi. Anak-anak yang belum pernah mencoba kehidupan malam diberi minuman, dan ternyata banyak kejutan yang menanti mereka.

Mereka harus menghadapi berbagai tipe orang-orang di kehidupan malam yang mencoba memanfaatkan kenaifan dan kepolosan mereka. Sampai akhirnya begitu keesokan pagi, Dini cs terbangun di sebuah hotel dalam keadaan berantakan. Anak-anak ini pun panik, apalagi mereka dikejar oleh Allan, pria misterius yang sepertinya tidak putus asa untuk bisa menangkap mereka. Dini sendiri tersadar kalau ia berkenalan dengan Ben, vokalis band terkenal di malam yang sama. Sherry bangun dalam keadaan luka-luka. Sementara itu Tika malah bangun dengan memakai baju yang bukan miliknya. Sedangkan Putri hilang diculik saat mereka berusaha lari dari kejaran Allan. Apa yang sebetulnya terjadi di malam itu? Bisakah mereka menemukan Putri kembali sebelum semuanya terlambat?

The movie pulled in A$1.6 million on its opening weekend, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing the local Motion Picture Industry Association.

The box office figure, for the four-day period ending on Sunday, was unusually high for Hong Kong, especially since the movie carries a Category III rating that prohibits people under the age of 18 years old from seeing it.

The movie, which its creators billed as "the world's first major 3D erotic movie," packed Hong Kong theatres, with many screenings sold out or nearly sold out, as curious movie-goers paid up to A$14.70 a ticket. One theatre chain in the city was charging A$21.40 a ticket for a small screening room that seats fewer than 20 people.

Its producers used various marketing gimmicks to lure audiences into cinemas, including ladies' night screenings and midnight shows. 3D Sex and Zen cost HK$25 million (A$3,056,717) to make, the producers said.

The Cantonese-language movie is about a young Ming Dynasty-era scholar who embarks on a journey of sexual self-discovery after leaving his wife. The film - with its frequent campy humor - includes scenes of nudity and explicit - and at times even violent - sex, which got mixed reactions from audiences.

The movie also topped the weekend box office in Taiwan, where it opened Friday. For the three-day period, it earned $7.22 million New Taiwan (A$30,322.60) in the capital Taipei and an estimated $15 million New Taiwan across the island, according to distributor Long Shong Group.

Review :

In Takashi Miike's freakishly intense world, the tormentor and the tormented are locked in a cycle of retribution and outlandish violence where torture, dismemberment, and evisceration are the norm. Crisply edited and employing some mind-boggling camera techniques, the film -- as in Miike's other works -- creates mordantly funny moments that are as pungent as they are memorable. At one point, Kakihara, as an act of atonement, cuts off his pierced tongue only to take a cell phone call immediately afterwards. At another, a cascade of blood, bowels, and body parts spills into a hallway immediately after Ichi enters a room. Yet for all of Miike's visual invention and wit, the film's dubious treatment of women might leave a bad taste in the mouth of the most hardened Asian cult film buff. Every woman in the flick is brutalized in a manner that borders on the pornographic (including rape and genital mutilation) and then killed. While some might be exhilarated by Miike's brilliant camera work and imagery, others might be inclined to take a bath. ~ Jonathan Crow, Rovi.
